Google Body is a detailed 3D model of the human body. You can peel back anatomical layers, zoom in, and navigate to parts that interest you. Click to identify anatomy, or search for muscles, organs, bones and more.
You can also share the exact scene you are viewing by copying and pasting the corresponding URL.

The best with the app/supporting initiative
+ Allowing people to get a better understanding of the body and proving a platform that can be used by app developers.
The weak parts of the app/supporting initiative
- Not possible to chose the type of body in the browser you want to use.
What could accelerate this app/supporting initiative into a world changer?
> Possibility to include different "impacts".
It should be possible to see changes, e.g. increased fat (not only the visible fat but also in the blood veins) due to different kinds of unhealthy lifestyles. It should be possible to link a food/exercise app that could provide data so that people could see how their body would look like in 5,10, 20 years if they keep living like they do.
It should be possible to see how different kind of pollutions affects the body. Then app developer could analyze where we have been, what we have eaten, etc, in order to indicate what kind of toxic chemicals we have been exposed to. Every day/week/month/year we could then follow what is happening in our body.
How direct is the delivery of the result the app tries to achieve
- Long shot
So many things are missing from this early draft, but the the potential for many functions is so great that it still has to be seen as a transformative initiative.
How transformative is it
- A new world
- A major shift
- A bit of a shake-up
- A gentle rocking
Right now it is a soft nudge, but if app developers start to use it and Google responds by developing the browser further this could become part of one of the most important food/health revolutions in history.
How much does it encourage collaborations
How much are new networks supported
- Strong support for global networks?
- Currently encourages new forms of collaboration
- Provides interesting opportunities in the future
- Restricted to a small (expert) group
Health, environment and a more transparent body are three trends that are converging and that could create totally new groups in society.
What synergies can be delivered
How well does it also solve other problems/generate solutions
- It solves everything
- Several important challenges
- Some important challenges
- Only one challenge
Understanding what's happening to our bodies and how this is related to different activities by companies, governments etc will result in significant changes in society.
Nine billion contribution
How global is it? Is it helping/will it help everyone on the planet
- Instant global equality
- Almost global
- Getting (incrementally) global
- Not applicable
It is important that rich peoples fascination with their own bodies result in narcissism and ignoring the poor on the planet.
Building on current trends
How well does it use current trends
- The app is setting new trends by itself
- Building on multiple trends
- Effectively building on one trend
- Not really building on any major trend
Transparency, health and real-time information makes the body browser fit perfect. It only needs to make sure that it actually does something good.
How fast can it deliver
- It's already happening
- In the coming weeks
- In a year or so
- In a distant future (hopefully)
The body browser itself will not deliver anything. It is only if apps are developed, and if these apps are actually transformative. Still the potential is so great that this initiative can not be ignored.
Does it support transformative transparency
- Brave new transparency
- Transparency that is innovative (never seen before)
- Increased transparency, but nothing innovative
- No increase in transparency
When our bodies become transparent in real-time a new era will begin.
